This truly is happiness in a necklace! The joyful exuberance of all the different colours and sizes of this multi-stranded beauty is guaranteed to lift the greyest of outfits and the dullest of days.
On the four strands of this necklace, beads range from 5mm to 15mm. First they are made from wood (which keeps even this large-scale necklace blissfully light), and then carefully covered with scraps of Kantha cotton. Some have also been painted gold to bring an extra emphasis. The strands themselves are then put together in graded lengths, meaning that you can lie the necklace flat to showcase the colours, or twist them about a bit for extra impact. The clasp is fitted with an extender chain to help you get the perfect fit.
Our Kantha jewellery has turned out to be a very special find: all of these pieces are made in India by skilled craftswomen for the Fair Trade Organisation. Fair Trade empowers women, sends girls to school, and transforms communities. When you use your purchasing power to shop Fair Trade, you create a chain of goodness around the world.

Please remember that since these kantha pieces are all individually hand-made from recycled material, each one is utterly unique. Whilst the photos can give you a very good expectation of what your chosen piece might look like, there might be slight variations from time to time. Personally, we think this adds to the charm!
